Overview
The L.E. Wilson Expanding Mandrel Die is a crucial tool for precision reloaders. It is designed to prepare new brass for optimal bullet seating. This die ensures a consistent neck diameter by expanding the case neck to slightly under bullet diameter achieving uniform neck tension and consistent seating depth.
The die features interchangeable mandrels (sold separately) to accommodate various calibers and its stainless-steel construction guarantees long-lasting durability. The cut-out in the die provides a clear view for aligning the case and setting the depth accurately. Compatible with standard 7/8ths reloading presses the die includes a lock nut manufactured by L.E. Wilson for added precision.
The expanding mandrel die is particularly useful for new brass that may be damaged during bulk shipping or to properly prepare for their first firing. Proudly made in the USA the L.E.
