By using this website and purchasing products from Sentry Firearms LLC, you agree to the following terms:
1. Eligibility & Legal Compliance
- Age Requirements: You must be at least 21 years old to purchase handguns, receivers, or any ammunition in the State of Florida. You must be at least 18 years old to purchase long guns (rifles/shotguns) unless state law dictates otherwise.
- Prohibited Persons: By placing an order, you certify that you are not a “prohibited person” under federal or state law, including but not limited to: being a convicted felon, a fugitive from justice, or an unlawful user of controlled substances.
- Local Laws: It is your responsibility to ensure that the item you are purchasing is legal to own in your specific jurisdiction. Sentry Firearms is not responsible for orders canceled due to local restrictions.
2. Firearm Transfers (FFL)
- No Direct Shipping: Federal law requires that all firearms be shipped to a licensed Federal Firearms License (FFL) holder. We will not ship firearms directly to a residential address.
- FFL Selection: You must provide the contact information of your chosen FFL dealer within 15 days of your order. Failure to do so may result in order cancellation and a 15% restocking fee.
- Background Checks: You are responsible for any transfer fees or background check fees charged by your local FFL dealer.
3. Accuracy of Information
We strive for 100% accuracy, but we reserve the right to cancel orders arising from pricing errors, typographical errors, or inventory discrepancies. If an order is canceled after payment, a full refund will be issued.
Shipping & Returns Policy
1. Shipping Guidelines
- Carrier Methods: Most orders ship via UPS, FedEx, or USPS.
- Handguns: All handguns must be shipped via Air Service (per carrier regulations) and require an Adult Signature upon delivery.
- Ammunition: Ammo must ship via Ground and cannot be shipped to P.O. Boxes.
- Processing Time: Orders typically process within 1–3 business days, provided all FFL documentation is received.
2. Returns & Refunds
- Firearms & Ammunition: All sales are final. Once a firearm is transferred to you by your FFL, it is considered “used” and cannot be returned. Ammunition and apparel are also non-returnable for safety and health reasons.
- Inspection at FFL: You must fully inspect your firearm at the FFL dealer before completing the transfer. If you discover a defect or blemish before the transfer, contact us immediately to arrange a return.
- Warranty: If a defect is discovered after the transfer, the firearm is covered by the manufacturer’s warranty. We will assist you in contacting the manufacturer for repair or replacement.
3. Fees & Cancellations
- Restocking Fee: Non-defective returns (authorized by us) are subject to a 15% restocking fee (minimum $15).
- Cancellations: We will attempt to cancel orders at no charge if requested by 5:00 PM on the day the order was placed. Orders already in the shipping process cannot be canceled.
- NFA Items: Cancellations or changes to Silencers/NFA items once ATF paperwork has started will incur a $100 change fee plus shipping costs.
